My little blog on tune up
Engineers have designed your brakes to wear down over time and to send out certain signals that it's time for a checkup. Does your brake light remain on even after you've disengaged your parking brake? Most likely, your brake fluid level is low and needs replenishing. Have you noticed a distinctive odor and light amber colored pool of liquid underneath your car? Take your car to your brake repair shop immediately! These signs indicate a leak in your brake fluid line. Your brake pedal or wheel will vibrate when rotor surface issues are present. And, while we're on the subject of rotor surfaces, note that your brakes will squeal as you let up on the pedal when your brake wear indicators begin scraping against your rotors.
