It is a good idea to send out the baby announcements within about 3 months after the birth. Be sure to include the name of the baby, the birth weight, and how long the baby was at birth. You should also include the name of the hospital in which the baby was born. If you are on maternity leave and plan on going back to work it is a good idea to send your baby announcement to your co workers and supervisor. You should include your expected return to work date on the baby announcements you send to your work place.
