Lake George is one of the better known lakes in the southern Adirondack region. Just to the north is Lake Champlain. There are literally hundreds of lakes and ponds in the area. People who love to boat usually try to stay in the Adirondack rentals in this region. You can even find some Adirondack summer rentals that have private docks for your boat.
